Mentor Program Coordinators implement the vision of the Mentor Program at the local and regional level, making them the key to the program’s success. Most often, Coordinators are Early Childhood Education/Child Development faculty members at our participating colleges. Although faculty status is not required to be a Coordinator, it is necessary for each Coordinator to be designated as such by the college and to have a good working relationship with the college’s Early Childhood Education department.

The Mentor Program partners with 100+ community colleges with a Coordinator at each site. Forty‐three colleges work with the Mentor Program as members of regions with one lead college. The remaining colleges work with the Program as individual colleges.
