The California Early Childhood Mentor Program’s Steering Committee is comprised of Volunteer Members who represent various Regions around the State of California. They serve as a liaison between the Mentor Teachers and the State Office.
Their duties include:
- Meeting with Local Program Coordinators, and visiting Mentor Teachers on site regularly
- Attending Monthly Mentor Seminars
- Assisting Mentor Program staff with the annual Mentor Institute, and connecting with the Mentor Teachers in their Region
- Updating State Office of how individual programs are operating
