DESCRIPTION:Dear ECE Colleagues \nPlease join us on Friday\, October 9\, from 10:00–11:30 a.m. to learn about the Workforce Pathways LA Career & College Advisement Toolkit and explore how it can support your work with ECE students. \nBuilding on the legacy of the Investing in Early Educators Stipend Program (AB 212)\, Workforce Pathways LA is a comprehensive workforce development model that works in partnership with. The program supports early educators as they move along the career lattice\, with a focus on: \n\nLicensing\, health\, and safety\nProfessional development\, permits\, and degrees\nWorkforce systems improvement\n\nWorkforce Pathways LA also provides financial incentives for achieving career and educational milestones\, along with professional development and career advisement for early educators across a variety of settings. \nAs part of this work\, Workforce Pathways LA developed the Career & College Advisement Toolkit to support the early care and education field. \nDuring our October 9 session\, we will explore how the resources in the Toolkit can be used when advising students about coursework\, degrees\, permits\, and ECE career pathways. DESCRIPTION:The CECMP is excited to announce a new opportunity for Director Mentors! We will be offering quarterly seminars via Zoom to support Director Mentors across the state to build community and dialog together; as well as explore mutual topics of interest. Laura Reno\, retired Director Mentor\, will be the facilitator and will be reaching out with further details to those who have a confirmed registration. A stipend of $125 will be provided for attending all sessions. \nAll sessions are virtual and held from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. \nSeminar Dates: \n\nOctober 13\, 2026\nDecember 8\, 2026\nMarch 9\, 2027\nMay 11\, 2027\n\nZoom link provided upon application approval. \nStipends are available to participants who complete the entire series. \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:This year\, CECMP welcomes Ann Hentschel author of “Inspiring Peak Performance” and “The Director’s Toolbox: Leadership in Action.” For more than four decades\, Ann has worked at the intersection of early childhood practice\, leadership\, and quality improvement — always with the same conviction: that the people closest to children deserve the best tools\, the clearest guidance\, and someone genuinely in their corner. \n\n10/23 Director Mentors Only\n\nAdvanced Director Mentor Institute (ADMI): focus on “The Director’s Leadership Experience.”\n\n\n10/24-25 Coordinators\, Directors Mentors and Mentor Teachers\n\nStatewide Institute: focus on “Mentoring from the Inside Out.”\n\n\n\nThe Institute will conclude at 12:00PM on Sunday\, October 25th.
